Read the terms for using ReactionBench: what the site is, that it's free, and that results are a benchmark, not a medical instrument

01Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using ReactionBench, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and to our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer. If you do not agree with any part of them, please do not use the site.

02The service

ReactionBench provides free, browser-based reaction-time tests and related educational content. The service is offered at no cost, without registration, and is intended for personal, non-commercial use — including individual practice, curiosity, and classroom demonstration.

03Provided "as is"

The site and all its tests are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that results are accurate, that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it is fit for any particular purpose. Reaction-time figures are approximate and affected by your hardware, as explained in our Disclaimer.

04Not professional advice

Nothing on ReactionBench constitutes medical, psychological, legal, driving-safety or other professional advice. The tests must not be used for diagnosis or any decision with real-world consequences. Always consult a qualified professional for such matters.

05Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ReactionBench and its authors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of — or inability to use — the site, including any reliance placed on its results or any physical strain from repetitive input. You use the site entirely at your own risk.

06Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the site:

  • Attempt to disrupt or overload the site
  • Reverse-engineer it for malicious purposes, or scrape it at scale
  • Use the site in any unlawful way
  • Represent a ReactionBench score as a certified or clinical measurement to a third party

We may restrict access if the service is being abused.

07Intellectual property

The ReactionBench name, design, text and test implementations are the property of their authors and are protected by applicable law. You may use the site for its intended personal and educational purposes, but you may not copy, republish or commercially exploit its content without permission.

08Changes to the service and terms

We may add, change or remove tests, features or content at any time, and we may revise these terms. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above. Your continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

09Governing principles

These terms are intended to be interpreted reasonably and in good faith. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.
