Privacy Policy

ReactionBench has no accounts, no analytics, and no cookies. Read the short version of how — and why — we collect nothing

Last updated · July 16, 2026

01What we collect

Effectively nothing personal. There is no sign-up, no login, and no account on ReactionBench, so we never ask for your name, email, or any identifying information. We do not build a profile of you, and we do not sell or share data — because we do not collect it in the first place.

02Where your scores are stored

Your best results are saved in your browser's local storage — a small space on your own device. They stay on that device, in that browser, and are never transmitted to us or anyone else. There is no leaderboard server receiving your times. If you open the site on a different device or browser, you start fresh, because the scores never travelled.

03Deleting your data

Because everything lives locally, you are always in full control. Use the "Clear all results" button on the stats page, or clear your browser's site data, and every score is gone for good. We have no copy to restore, and no copy to hand to anyone else.

04Cookies

ReactionBench does not use tracking or advertising cookies. The only client-side storage we use is the functional local-storage entries that remember your results and settings, described above. They are not cookies, are not shared across sites, and carry no identifier.

05Analytics

If we measure traffic at all, we use only privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics that record anonymous page views without cookies and without any personally identifiable information. We never track individuals across the web, and we cannot connect a visit to a person.

06Third-party services

ReactionBench self-hosts its own fonts at build time, so your browser doesn't make a request to a third-party font provider just to load the page. We don't embed any third-party scripts, widgets, or trackers. We share no information with any third party.

07Children's privacy

ReactionBench is suitable for general audiences, including classroom use. Because we collect no personal information from anyone, we collect none from children. We do not knowingly gather data from any visitor regardless of age.

08Changes to this policy

If our practices change, we will update this page and the "last updated" date above. Because the site is data-light by design, we expect changes to be rare. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
